Driven wine love, we have created a unique wine domain, located between monasteries and medieval castles. Here, in a region with a rich history (from 1018!), we cultivate our vines with respect, helped by an exceptional microclimate. Our mission? Pioneer of a new wine region.
In 2000, the idea of creating a winery in Belgium, a country with a rich history but without established winemaking tradition, might have seemed audacious. Centuries had passed since the disappearance of vineyards and know-how. Yet, it was in that context that the Château Bon Baron adventure started, driven by the passion and determination of a Dutch couple in a French-speaking region.
